Floral fragrance, lots of purple flowers on the nose with aromatic blue and black berry fruit. Supple and so creamy, this is just gorgeous from the get go, smooth and round, crushed velvety in texture with a slight grip, slight bounce and slight tension. The juicy content is just so great, pure, crystalline, a lick of salty, wet stone, slate, oyster shell. Very Pauillac in the undertone of mint, Cab liquorice and tobacco but so elegant. I love it. A yield of 24hl/ha. Ageing 50% new oak maximum. (Decanter Wine Magazine, Georgina Hindle)
